My favorite immensely talented lad who also grew up rich enough to be neighbors with Brian Eno is at it (Fred) again. He released a show recorded in Dublin for New Years Eve on Apple Music, and it was such a treat to discover on New Year's Day. I love all of his gentler stuff too but I am also very excited that he's leaning into big bass right now.
The best part of the show was the installation hanging over the crowd, designed by Dutch artist Boris Acket. It's an undulating ocean of translucent fabric suspended from the ceiling and lit from within. This is a really lovely article about it, and here's Fred's post about the collaboration.
